About Me

Hi, if you're reading this my name is Jacob Kaufman, which you may have already figured out from the domain of this website. I have recently been working in computer repair and as a result I am thoroughly knowledgable on computer repair, maintenance and service. I have also developed an excellent understanding of professional communications, both for keeping active understanding of repairs for clients for both the client and my workplace as well as maintaining understanding of the status of current work events and ongoing services with colleagues. Additionally, I picked up many skills from earning an Associate's Degree in IT Support. From these experiences I've become very confident in addressing issues with computer systems and performing effective repairs to said systems. This experience improved my ability to confidently provide solutions based with a wide variety of computer issues and deliver fixes for those issues. I have a large breadth of experience working in Windows 10/11, Mac and Linux Operating Systems, being able to configure and maintain any of these OSes. I would also describe myself as a learning focused individual, if I don't understand a concept or a problem I get an itch to figure it out. I utilize this by either finding articles and videos to figure it out in the moment or make a mental note to research the topic at a convenient time. Continuing to learn new information where I find myself lacking a clear understanding has been my best method toward truly improving as an information technology professional.
